Tobacco exporter to the UK: wholesale supply for UK importers

Fakhama Wholesale is a licensed Dubai-based wholesale distributor and export house supplying tobacco, shisha, rolling tobacco, nicotine pouches and vaping products to trade buyers in the United Kingdom. We sell factory-direct to businesses only — we do not sell to consumers.

We are the exporter; you are the importer of record

This is the first thing worth being clear about, because it decides who carries what. We ship from Dubai. When the goods arrive in the UK, the importer of record is you — the UK business bringing them in. Registration, duty, excise and VAT in the destination market sit with the importer, not with us, and we quote on that basis rather than delivered-duty-paid.

That is not a limitation we are working around; it is how the trade works, and a supplier who implies otherwise is worth a second look. Our guide for UK importers sets out the obligation categories in full and points to HMRC for the current rates and thresholds, which change and which we deliberately do not restate.

What we supply

Cigarettes across king size, super slims and compact formats; shisha and hookah molasses; rolling and pipe tobacco; cigarillos; nicotine pouches; and disposable and refillable vaping lines. The full range, brand by brand with pack formats and variants, is on our brands pages.

Pack format and market marking need agreeing before an order, not after — requirements differ by destination and a pack specified for one market is not automatically saleable in another.

Two routes into the UK

Most buyers take the first; the second exists because some already have a supplier and need the lane, not the stock.

Incoterms and shipping

We work to standard Incoterms and agree the term before quoting, because it determines where your cost and risk begin. Sea suits volume and planned replenishment; air suits smaller, urgent or high-value consignments. Our Incoterms explainer covers EXW, FOB and CIF as they apply to tobacco, and there is a sea-versus-air comparison if you are weighing the two.

Who we work with

Licensed trade buyers: importers, distributors, wholesalers, duty-free and travel retail, and established retail groups. We will ask for evidence that you are licensed to trade these categories in your market, and we expect you to ask us for ours.

What we need in order to quote

Trade pricing is shared privately against a specific enquiry — we do not publish price lists, because pricing depends on brand, format, quantity and lane. Send the list above and you will have a quote back the same day.

Frequently asked

Do you sell to individuals? No. Trade buyers only, and we ask for licence evidence.

Do your prices include UK duty and VAT? No. Duty, excise and VAT are billed to you as the importer in the destination market, and we quote on that basis.

Can you tell me the landed cost? We can quote goods and freight. Duty, excise and VAT depend on current HMRC rates and on your own registration, so those are yours to calculate — the importer guide lists what to look up.

What are your minimum order quantities? They vary by brand and format. Our MOQs, payment terms and lead times guide explains how these are normally structured, and we confirm the specifics with your quote.

Are you a UK company? No — we are based in Dubai and export to the UK. You import; we supply.
